Music was her passion. She yearned to become an opera performer. She was trained in music at several reputed institutes. Regan started her career by working at a hedge fund. In the following years, CBS MarketWatch offered her an opportunity to work. She began her career as a CBS Evening News correspondent. Regan was a business correspondent for CBS Evening News. Then, she transferred to CNBC. There, Regan hosted a market show each day, and also produced documentaries. She was awarded an Emmy Award in the Best Documentary category while at CNBC.
